Turkish Super Liga
Kayserispor put daylight between themselves and the Super Lig relegation zone with a 1-0 victory over Kasimpasa.
Kayserispor were without a win in four league games coming into tonight's clash but they secured all three points thanks to Pablo Mouche's 71st-minute effort.
The result leaves Kayserispor in 13th spot, three points above the bottom three, while Kasimpasa remain in sixth place after seeing their winless run stretch to four matches.
Greek Super League
Dimitris Salpingidis struck twice as PAOK Salonika further strengthened their grip on second place in the Greek Super League with a 3-1 victory at Giannina.
Greece international Salpingidis netted in the 20th and 67th minutes, sandwiching a goal from strike-partner Stefanos Athanasiadis in the 32nd minute, as PAOK took complete control of proceedings.
Fifth-placed Giannina pulled a goal back through Brana Ilic with 14 minutes left but it was not enough to deny PAOK, who moved six points clear of third-placed Asteras Tripoli in the standings.
Runaway leaders Olympiacos are still eight points clear despite PAOK's win, though.
