Dortmund have struggled in the Bundesliga this season, picking up only 27 points from 15 games, and are currently a massive 11 points behind league leaders Bayern Munich.
Similarly, Wolfsburg have performed below expectations so far and they now find themselves just three places above cellar dwellers Greuther Furth.
However, despite the troubles of both teams, Dortmund are fully expected to dispatch Wolfsburg with ease when the two sides meet at Westfalenstadion stadium, but Klopp insists that Die Wolfe will not go down without a fight.
"We have to expect a team that has fun when they play football," Klopp was quoted as saying by the official Dortmund website.
"Regardless of their situation I believe their team is still behind their coach.
"For them, some good results are due and they will certainly fight for it.
"Wolfsburg have rediscovered the joy of playing football again.
"This is not good for their opponents.
"They have always had great quality in their side, but, now everything is easier."
With Dortmund having played in the Champions League against Manchester City on Tuesday, Klopp knows that he may have to rotate his squad in order to keep his players fresh, but the 45-year-old was giving very little away about his team selection.
"I cannot say definitively who will play," Klopp added.
"I have the option of playing a 4-3-3. We still have to think about it though as I have not yet decided.
"I will decide closer to the game. Some of my players have a good understanding of this system.
"I have a team able to change their game with little extra training."
Dortmund have only lost just once at home this season, but Wolfsburg will be encouraged by the fact that 10 of their 16 points have been won away from home.
