The Protectors had a disappointing season this year after finishing fifth in the league despite being expected to challenge for the title, which led to coach Lee Lim-saeng declaring he would be unveiling a "new-look" side next term.
It now appears the wheels to the Home revolution are in motion after the club announced on Thursday only four players from their current roster have been retained, namely Indra, Firdaus, Nor Azli Yusoff and Masrezwan Masturi.
In what was an season of inconsistency for the Bishan Stadium outfit, Nor Azli was a rare bright spark as he established himself as one of Singapore's best right-backs, while Masrezwan toiled on manfully throughout the year despite being deployed in an unfamiliar defensive role.
Indra, who previously had a spell with Home from 2001 to 2008, was not always given a starting berth but had an impact whenever he came off the bench, and is expected to play a similar impact role in 2013.
Firdaus, meanwhile, was also played in a variety of positions as Lee tried to find his best XI, but showed glimpses of quality and forced his way into the selection reckoning for Singapore's AFF Suzuki Cup squad.
Thursday's announcement also means the likes of Frederic Mendy, Qiu Li and Shi Jiayi will all be looking for new clubs, although all are rumoured to be close to securing deals.
Plenty of names have been linked with a move to the Bishan Stadium, including ex-LIONSXII duo Sevki Sha'ban and Juma'at Jantan, and Hougang United livewire Jordan Webb.
