Tranmere back on top; Dons win

Late goals from Andy Robinson and Cole Stockton sent Tranmere back to the top of npower League One with a 2-0 win over bottom side Hartlepool at Victoria Park on Wednesday.

Robinson netted the opener from the penalty spot in the 79th minute after Peter Hartley was brought down by James Wallace and substitute Stockton added the second in injury time.

MK Dons moved up to eighth with a 1-0 home win over Leyton Orient, Ryan Lowe grabbing the only goal in the 41st minute when he converted a Dean Bowditch cross.

Burton Albion moved up to fifth in League Two with a 2-1 win at Plymouth. Paris Cowan-Hall gave the hosts a 49th-minute lead but late headers from Nathan Stanton and Robbie Weir gave the visitors the points.
