PREVIEW: Hannover in Swedish test

Hannover host Helsingborgs on Thursday with the Bundesliga side on good form both domestically and in Europe.

Hannover vs Wolfsburg: Didier Ya Konan

Mirko Slomka's side are unbeaten in Europa League Group L with seven points from three games while they stand sixth in the Bundesliga after victory over Augsburg last time out arrested a poor run of two defeats and a draw.

An injury-time goal by Didier Ya Konan brought them a 2-1 victory at Helsingborgs in their last European game and they enter the game with a one-point lead over Levante with FC Twente third, five points adrift, while their visitors have just one point from a draw with the Dutch side.

Midfielder Lars Stindl admits it has been relentless recently but he believes Hannover are benefiting from focusing on one game at a time.

He told www.hannover96.de: "Admittedly, this is difficult, they are of course intense weeks.

"We have had many recent games Helsingborg, Gladbach, the cup game and Augsburg.

"We must immediately recover after each game, immediately get your head clear and focus on the next game.

"I think we can do pretty well. We know we assess every game properly."

For Helsingborgs, their chances of reaching the knockout stages look pretty bleak.

There was heartbreak last time out against Thursday's hosts when Alvaro levelled at the death only for Ya Konan to plunder all three points and their next two games pit them against the top two in the group.

Domestically, they are fifth in the Allsvenskan.
