The Argentinian playmaker is content that his side have met their first ambition - progress from Group A - and now wants to go through in style.
Victory over Dynamo Kyiv yesterday would have helped but a 0-0 stalemate was at least enough to assure them of a place in the next round.
"We managed to achieve our first objective, and we are very happy about that," Gonzalez told UEFA.com
"Of course, we want to win our group now - that's obvious - but there are still two matches to go. We will play Dinamo Zagreb at home, and then we will have the decisive match for the group against Paris St Germain.
"First we have to beat Dinamo Zagreb at home.
"We are happy to have made it through the group stage. We came here looking for the victory, but we knew that with a draw we would achieve our first objective, which was to make it into the last 16. We managed to do that, and we are happy about it."
