Despite playing at centre-back for the England Under-21 side and the Liverpool youth team, Wisdom's appearances for Rodgers' men has seen him slotted into a right-back berth.
Nevertheless, the 20-year old told the club's official website that shining for the Reds was all that mattered, regardless of where he played.
"I just appreciate playing, if it's right-back or centre-back it doesn't really bother me, I played most of my youth career at centre-back so I would say that's my position. But obviously if Brendan Rodgers comes to me and says I'm playing right-back this week, I'm not going to say 'No I'm not, I'm playing centre-back'," Wisdom stated.
"I'm just going to get on with it and do it. Hopefully I can give all I can in any position I'm asked to play. There's always a chance, even if everyone is fit."
Liverpool snapped up four defenders in the summer transfer window, Aly Cissokho, Tiago Ilori, Mamadou Sakho and Kolo Toure, but Wisdom was confident he would remain in Rodgers' plans.
"The manager makes us work very hard and if you perform well in training and show the right attitude when given an opportunity to make the position yours, he'll play you no matter what your age is. He showed everyone that last season and is giving opportunities this season also. It's great to be around the team and to be playing if I'm chosen or on the bench or in the squad," Wisdom shared.
"We've signed a few more defenders and it's obviously going to be harder to get a spot in the team. But I've been given some time to play - it's appreciated and it has been good."
Liverpool will travel to Sunderland for their Premier League fixture this Sunday.
