Ramos, whose side face Basel in the round of 32 clash at St Jakob-Park, would match the achievement of Giovanni Trapattoni, the current Republic of Ireland manager, if his side claim the title.
His previous wins came when his Sevilla side won back to back tournaments in 2006 and 2007.
Dnipro have been on a warm weather training camp in Malaga following their long winter break and last played on December 1.
However, captain Ruslan Rotan thinks the tie in Switzerland is evenly balanced and denied his side is underprepared after more than two months out of competitive action.
"We traditionally have a very long winter break in the Ukraine," Rotan told tageswoche.ch
"This year, the cycle has been broken for us by qualifying for the knockout round of the Europa League. Accordingly, our preparation program has had different requirements but we have trained the necessary amount.
"Before the game, the odds are 50/50. We will face a good, talented opponent against whom we should be on guard."
The match could be a case of the unstoppable force versus the immovable object as Dnipro have scored 16 goals in the group stage while Basel only conceded three goals in Group G, their last three games each ending with a clean sheet.
With international experience of playing in Switzerland under his belt, Rotan expects a certain style of play from Basel.
He added: "My impression was that one of the main features is the discipline on the pitch. This reminds me of German football.
"We will confront this enemy with respect."
Basel recorded a 3-0 win over Sion at the weekend in their first match back since their lengthy winter break.
Coach Murat Yakin was satisfied with the win despite a slow start to the game which saw his side take the lead on the stroke of half time before pulling away after the break.
"It is important that we have won the first match in the second half," Yakin told the club's official website.
"The team was very focused from the first minute and did not allow the opponents barely any room. I liked that.
"It was also a good test for the upcoming tasks in the Europa League, where Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk with want to take a bit chunk out of us."
