Antonio Conte's men eased to a 3-0 victory over Celtic in the first leg of the teams' Champions League Round of 16 tie at Celtic Park last month and are firm favourites to wrap up proceedings in the return leg next week.

Despite what many expect to be a formality, Peluso told the Juventus official website that the team should remain on their guard during the second leg, especially of Celtic's threat from set-pieces.

"The Scots were very good from dead ball situations so we have to be aware of that threat," he stated.

"In the first leg, Celtic showed they are a great team who can cause problems for us. Overall we need to stay very focused for the entire match."

Prior to their European tie, the Bianconeri must first navigate through a tricky test against second-placed Napoli on Friday. Although Conte's men have a six point lead over their opponents in the Serie A table, Peluso urged his team-mates not to get carried away with their advantage and to take their league campaign one match at a time.

"We can’t be thinking about the six point advantage, we’re just concentrating on ourselves," he said.

"We know what our aims are and what we want to achieve game after the game. Friday’s match is obviously important and so we hope to come out on top."
