Real Madrid were held to a 1-1 draw by Manchester United at the Santiago Bernabeu last week, after Cristiano Ronaldo cancelled out Danny Welbeck's opener.
Reina told Marca that he was rooting for Jose Mourinho's team to see off the Red Devils in the second leg.
"I want Real to win the Champions League tie against United, it's a Spanish team and I've got lots of friends there," Reina explained.
The Liverpool goalkeeper also made a joke about his hopes for Gareth Bale to leave the Premier League for Los Blancos, but he rejected rumours suggesting that he was going to take Victor Valdes' place at Barcelona.
"If Real Madrid signs Bale I'll be delighted. He causes me a lot of problems!" Reina said.
"I'm sure Victor Valdes will have his reasons for deciding to leave Barcelona. I respect him. He's my team-mate and friend. He'll be leaving with his head held high, as he's given his all to Barcelona. Any talk of me joining Barca is just speculation. I've got a contract at Liverpool and I'm very happy here."
