Ramos fires warning to United

United have been in superb form this season, amassing an incredible 65 points from 26 Premier League games to top the table, and they currently hold a massive 12 point lead over nearest challengers Manchester City.

"Cristiano is going through the best moment of his career and we are so lucky to have him at Real Madrid," Ramos was quoted as saying by the Sun.

"United is the most important game of our season. We shouldn't go crazy. We know it's going to be 180 minutes not just 90.

"It's true that over here it would be super-important to keep a clean sheet and try to maintain the offensive level we have.

"We have the players to create danger."

Ronaldo was once again the inspiration for Real as he provided an assist and scored a brilliant hat-trick to lead them to a 4-1 rout of Sevilla on Saturday, and Ramos believes that this gives them the perfect boost to their morale following their humbling loss to Granada a week before.

"We reacted well after the loss against Granada," Ramos added.

"Madrid have to show their faces every day. It's true that this is the most important game of the season because we can't look to past years.

"We are going into this super-important match and mentally the group is convinced we will beat United."

United gathered vital momentum heading into their crunch clash with Real with a hard-fought 2-0 win over Everton in the league on Sunday.
