Calling Celtic Park a "gladiator arena", the veteran knows that the Scottish champions will use their physical presence to unsettle the Italians.
The same tactic worked for them against Barcelona as they registered a historic 2-1 win back in November during the group stages over the Catalan giants.
Pirlo, though, feels that the Bhoys should not underestimate the Bianconeri as they are ready to do battle and match them at their own game next week.
"We are prepared for whatever Celtic have to offer. We saw that they beat Barcelona in Glasgow but we are prepared to adapt maybe more than Barcelona did," he said.
"We know Barcelona play fantastic football but Celtic frustrated them. Whatever way Celtic want to play, we are ready for them.
"If they want to play football, we'll play football. But if they want to battle, we are ready to go to battle."
He is not fazed by the fact that Celtic fans will be out in full force to cheer on their side as they bid to progress to the quarter-finals for the first time in the club's history.
"I'm sure the noise from the Celtic fans will be crazy, but that will only make us more determined to go into battle.
"I know that Celtic Park will be like a gladiator arena but we're ready. We have players who have won the World Cup and Champions League, so we are used to intimidating games."
The first leg will take place in Parkhead next Tuesday with Juve playing host to Celtic in the return leg at the start of March.
