Los Blancos' domestic form has been nothing short of woeful this season; Jose Mourinho's men have only amassed 43 points from 22 games and currently trail league leaders Barcelona by a massive 16 points.
However, Real are still in the running for the Champions League and will face English giants Manchester United in the last-16 of the tournament.
And Benzema has revealed that his side fully intended to go all the way in the competition.
"We have the Champions League to play for and that is a special competition - especially for this club," Benzema told Marca.
"And then there is the Copa semifinal with Barcelona which is also very open.
"At this point in time, the team has to be united. We all have the same goal and we will not give up."
Real's miserable domestic campaign took a turn for the worse over the weekend when they fell to a humiliating 1-0 defeat to Granada, and Benzema apologised to the club's fans for having let them down throughout the season.
"We know we can do better," Benzema admitted.
"We are all disappointed by the defeat and I want to say sorry to the fans. We admit that winning the League is going to be difficult, but we have to fight until the end.
"It is a long road ahead and we know we can go far."
Benzema will likely feature for Real when they take on Sevilla in their next La Liga fixture.
