Barcelona midfielder Yaya Toure was left frustrated by Inter Milan's refusal to play attacking football at the Nou Camp.

The reigning European champions crashed out of the Champions League at the hands of Inter Milan who advanced to the final with a 3-2 aggregate.

Despite Barca's valiant efforts to break down a stubborn Inter defence, Pep Guardiola's men could not find a way past the ultra-defensive Inter unit.

It was not until the 84th minute that the home side managed to score the lone goal of the game through Gerard Pique.

Speaking to Marca after the match, Toure exclaimed:"I've never seen a team so close and play so defensively like Inter did,

"In fact, their player furthest forward played further back than my position on the field [in central defence], the game was very hard."

The Ivory Coast midfielder was also quick to suggest that the referee made a wrong call when he ruled out Bojan Krkic's goal due to a supposed hand-ball in the build-up play by Toure.

He added: "The referee made a mistake, I did not touch the ball with my hand. But he also has the right to get some things wrong,"

Inter will now face Bayern Munich in the final at the Bernabeu.
