Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos has insisted the club do not have a magic recipe for success as they look to win a third Champions League title in four years.
The Spanish giants are currently on course to become the first team to retain the Champions League trophy as they meet Juventus in the final of Europe’s elite club competition in Cardiff on Saturday.
While Madrid are looking for consecutive Champions League title, Juventus are searching for their first in 21 years.
Despite a third continental crown in four years being a real possibility for Los Blancos, Kroos said all it took was a great team and maximum effort.
“There is no magic recipe to win this title,” the German was quoted by FourFourTwo. “You need a great team and to give the maximum in important matches.
“It is amazing to win the league, but the Champions League is always special to me. I hope we win two in a row, but we do not need that motivation. We are ready for the final and we have no injuries.
“It will be a difficult match, as Juventus have shown they are very strong and very good in defence.”
