Current Schalke manager Jens Keller took over the club in December following the dismissal of Huub Stevens and is expected to relinquish the role at the end of the season.
With Pep Guardiola set to take over Bayern Munich at the end of the season, there has been speculation that Heynckes would make a switch to Schalke despite his announce, but Hoeness insists that the 67-year-old will see through his earlier announced intention to retire from management.
"Never, never!" he told TZ when asked if Heynckes would consider the move. "Jupp would be stupid. Why would he go there after such a season?
"I tell you what: Jupp does not have to do anything. Who has earned retirement more?"
There has also been talk of Heynckes being given a directorial or ambassadorial role at Bayern, but Hoeness is coy when asked about it.
"We've got some ideas, but we'll talk about it at the end of the season."
Bayern Munich are currently on their way to a successful season after defeating Arsenal 3-1 in the Champions League and are leading the Bundesliga by 15 points.
