Gotze is currently one of the hottest properties in European football after starring for BVB in the last couple of seasons, and has already been linked with moves to Arsenal, Manchester United and Real Madrid.

More recently, he was praised in the media by Bayern Munich legend Franz Beckenbauer, leading to speculation the Bavarian giants could be weighing up an offer for the 20-year-old.

However, Gotze is insistent he has not entertained the prospect of leaving the Signal Iduna Park and reveals he is loving life at the club.

"Quite honestly, I see no reason for me to deal with a change," he said, according to Bild am Sonntag.

"Since I came into the Dortmund youth setup, I've never really dealt with it. I have everything I need and I even want to build a house in Dortmund, because I feel so comfortable in the city."

The Germany international was also quick to stress that he is unfazed by the attention from some of Europe's top clubs, and vowed to continue playing according to the standards set by himself and the club.

"I've always been good at measuring myself against my own expectations," Gotze added. "The expectations of outsides are relatively unimportant.

"If you have a game every three days, you need to be aware of what you can afford.

"I think more after my poorer games but always with a view to improve, not because I doubt myself."

Gotze made his international debut in 2010 and has gone on to win 20 caps for Germany.
