Salihovic confident of upsetting Dortmund

Hoffenheim midfielder Sejad Salihovic is optimistic that they can inflict a loss on Borussia Dortmund in their upcoming home encounter on Sunday.

The Rhein Neckar Arena has always been a tough ground for Dortmund to visit and they suffered one of their only three defeats in a record-breaking Bundesliga campaign there last term.

Bosnian international Salihovic, however, expects it to be a comfortable victory even as Dortmund have been one of the most impressive sides in European football this season.

"[Even] if we concede a goal, we will win," Salihovic told Bild.

"I say that we will win 3-0. We have lost only once to them at our own stadium."

Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc does not think that such a bold prediction will prove justified on the day of the match.

"It's nice that they are so optimistic at Hoffenheim. We have a slightly different view and a different goal. We want to enter the winter break with a victory."

Hoffenheim do have some good news in the expected absences of Sebastian Kehl and Sven Bender for Dortmund.
