The Venezuelan has already scored five goals in the Bundesliga and is known for his terrific free-kick delivery.
He also scored a 48-yard stunner against Mainz on Sunday that left his coach ecstatic and amazed.
"He's been scoring some incredible goals this season - the one against Frankfurt, the one against Wolfsburg," Favre was quoted as saying by Bundesliga.com
"Our second [against Mainz] was such a beautiful goal.
"That was the goal of the year.
"[I was] wondering for ages whether the ball would go in."
Even team-mate Luuk De Jong joined in on providing the accolades for the talented South American.
"Juan is capable of scoring these kinds of goals and he shows that all the time in training," said De Jong. "
"He hits them in such a way that they bend in different directions in flight."
The Foals have endured just defeat from their last eight games and look like strong contenders for a European qualification finish. And Favre is happy to credit Arango as being instrumental for leading the squad by example.
"Things would probably be much more difficult for us without his goals," he agreed.
"He knows he's crucial to our game."
