Die Roten have started the current season in blistering fashion, and presently now top the league table with 37 points from 14 games so far.
In contrast, defending Bundesliga champions Dortmund have been inconsistent and they find themselves third in the table, 11 points behind Bayern.
Despite the seemingly commanding lead at the top, Bayern will not be able to relax just yet given the events of the previous Bundesliga campaign.
The Bavarian giants were denied the Bundesliga title by Die Borussen last season after they conceded an eight-point lead over their title rivals.
Ribery however, is adamant that such a scenario will not occur again, and claims that his side will finish this season at the top of the table.
"I am 100 per cent sure that we will become champions," Ribery was quoted as saying by Bild.
"The disappointments from last season motivate us to do better this year.
"We are all desperate to win the title. That's the most important goal.
"After that, we can then look at how far we can go in the Champions League and DFB Pokal.
"We cannot afford to make the same mistakes we made last year against smaller clubs.
"We had an eight-point lead, but Borussia Dortmund beat us to the title.
"I am convinced that we have learned from what happened."
Both Bayern and Dortmund will clash at the Allianz-Arena on Saturday.
