Rummenigge: Bender wants Bayern move

Bayern Munich CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has revealed Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Lars Bender is keen on moving to the Allianz Arena.

And that's his second of the game.

Bayern have been linked with a €25million move for Bender recently, although the player recently attempted to quash speculation by insisting he was more than happy to remain at the BayArena.

Nonetheless, Rummenigge has now revealed the Germany international is extremely interested in joining the Bavarian giants, although he is unsure if a move will materialise in the near future.

"We know that the player is very interested in coming to Munich," he told Dapd. "But I can't tell if that will lead to a transfer.

"It depends if there is a price both clubs can say 'yes' to. These days one needs to have some patience."

Bender started his professional career at Bayern's city rivals 1860 Munich but really established himself after joining Leverkusen in 2009, where he has since gone on to make 96 appearances in all competition.
