A club record 30,000 tickets have been sold - an increase of 2,500 on last year.
They could have sold even more season tickets but, out of fairness to fans who cannot make every single match and prefer to buy single matchday tickets, the sale has been limited to two thirds of the capacity of the Borussia Park Stadion.
"We could certainly have sold a few more thousand tickets this year," said Gladbach's general manager Stephan Schippers in a press release.
"But we decided to maintain a large number of matchday tickets.
"Borussia have a very large fan base and many fans live a long way from Monchengladbach and can only make it to five or six games per season.
"We want to ensure these fans also have the opportunity to get tickets."
Gladbach will return to the Champions League next season for the first time since their glory days in the 1970s and around 21,000 of the 30,000 season tickets sold also include all domestic and European cup matches.
