The 21-year-old was on fire in the Eredivisie this past season, scoring 25 goals to help his side finish 6th in the league and also earned a place in Holland's 23-man squad for Euro 2012 in the process.
His performances for his club have seen him linked with a move to the Barclays Premier League recently, with Newcastle and Tottenham reportedly interested in his services, although he now has revealed he is hoping to play at the Allianz Arena in the future.
"Bayern Munich are a fantastic club," De Jong told Bild.
"It is my dream to one day play for them."
Bayern are rumoured to be in the market for a new striker to lessen the burden on spearhead Mario Gomez, with Ivica Olic on his way out of the exit door while Nils Petersen has struggled to impress since joining from Energie Cottbus last summer.
The Bundesliga giants had a miserable end to the season as they finished without silverware after losing out to Borussia Dortmund in both the league and the DFB-Pokal, as well as being defeated in the final of the UEFA Champions League by Chelsea on penalties.
