Thomas Kroth, the player's representative, believes that the quotes were falsely attributed to the Japanese star and he denied that any interview to Osaka TV had taken place where Kagawa declared that he had played his last game for the Bundesliga champions.
He played down the comments on Tuesday calling them pure fabrication and he insisted that nothing has been decided with regards to the player's future so far.
The Japanese youngster has starred for Dortmund in their successful defence of the Bundesliga title as he has notched 13 goals in his second season with the club.
"Nothing is decided yet," Thomas Kroth told Bild.
The 23-year-old has not signed a new contract and there have been constant rumours throughout the season that he is keen on joining a club in the Premier League. Dortmund have sought to tie the player down with a new contract as far back as November last year but they have failed to achieve any success so far.
Dortmund forked out just €350,000 to sign the player from J-League outfit Cerezo Osaka in 2010 and will benefit handsomely should an offer come along for the player.
