Hannover end season on high
Hannover finished their season on a high by thrashing Energie Cottbus 4-0 at home.
Arnold Jan Bruggink (23) and Jiri Stajner (45) scored in the first half and Vinicius (59) and Hanno Balitsch (90) completed the rout after the break.
Hannover snapped a four-game winless streak to end the season on 49 points in sixth place. Energie Cottbus, who last week staved off relegation, lost their second game in the last five games for 36 points in 14th place.
