Leaders Stallion got the day's action at the Emperador Stadium underway against Pasargad and cruised to a 5-1 win.

Lee Won-hyung put them ahead in the 27th minute when he fired a strike into the bottom corner from just inside the area, before Rufinho doubled their tally nine minutes later with a clinical finish after being left unmarked at the far post.

Pasargad did manage to pull one back four minutes before the break when Emil Mucanda received the ball 30 yards from goal and unleashed a fantastic swerving strike that had the opposition keeper beaten all ends up.

However, Stallion restored their two-goal lead in the 73rd minute when Kim Hyo-il headed home a corner and it was 4-1 six minutes later; Nathaniel Alquiros netting with a terrific left-footed drive that went in off the post.

Not to be outdone, Rufinho capped off a fine night for Stallion by netting his second and his side's fifth eight minutes from time; picking up possession 25 yards from goal before sending a ferocious piledriver into the top corner.

The result was enough to keep them two points ahead of Global, who beat Manila Nomads 4-0 in Thursday's late kickoff.

Turkish midfielder Koray Gunduzoglu got Brian Reid's side on their way in the 17th minute with a close-range header at the back post, before he beat the offside trap and coolly fired home just before the break to make it 2-0.

The win was all but guaranteed three minutes before the hour mark when Izzeldin Elhabbib raced through down the left and skipped past the onrushing keeper before firing home, and 12 minutes from time, the rout was completed when Joshua Beloya netted from a tight angle for his first goal since joining the club.
