Prior to Saturday's game at the Emperador Stadium, PSG had picked up just one point from their opening five games, with the 0-0 draw in their last outing against Manila Nomads the first time they had managed to avoid defeat all campaign long.

And it certainly looked as though they would be returning to losing ways after the Archers took the lead in the 25th minute through Joaquin Jesus Melliza, who made it two goals in as many goals after netting in the 1-1 draw with Philippine Army.

However, Pasargad pulled one back 11 minutes after the break when Nigerian defender Mbata scored, before his compatriot Jolomi found the back of the net three minutes from time to grab a much-needed three points for his side.
