Asiri ensures Al-Ittihad win in Saudi Arabia
Ahmad Asiri grabbed the late winner as Al-Ittihad beat struggling Al-Tawon in the Saudi Arabian Premier League.
After four league games without a win, Al-Ittihad began promisingly and took the lead with an eighth-minute penalty from Mohammed Noor, before being pegged back by Abd Al Harby's equaliser in the 37th minute.
The points went home side Al-Ittihad's way though thanks to Asiri's effort in the 85th minute, consolidating their seventh place in the standings and leaving Al-Tawon still 12th in the 14-team division.
