Army, who had fallen to defeats in their first four games of the campaign, took the lead in the 11th minute through a Meliton Pelayo strike.
However, the Archers equalised 11 minutes after the break when Jesus Joaquin Melliza converted a low cross by Emelio Caligdong to earn a share of the spoils for his side.
The draw means Green Archers remain a point behind Kaya in 7th, while Army stay second from, ahead of Philippine Air Force, who are still looking for their first points of 2013.
The action in Philippines' top flight continues on Tuesday when Army take on Kaya, while Loyola Meralco Sparks lock horns with Manila Nomads.
