Al-Ahly climb to second
Al-Ahly Dubai went joint second in the UAE League with a 1-0 win at home to Dibba Al Fujairah on Thursday night.
Grafite scored in the 38th minute to take the hosts level with Al-Nasr and Bani Yas on 22 points, six behind leaders Al-Ain.
At the other end of the table, Al-Ittihad Kalba suffered their 10th defeat in 11 games with a 2-0 loss at home to Al-Shabab.
Edgar Da Silva opened the scoring after nine minutes and Aziz Haydarov finished the job at the death.
Dubai SC and Al-Wasl drew 2-2.
Simon Feindouno put Dubai SC in front just before the half-hour mark and Hassan Rahman made it two in the 43rd minute.
But Mahmoud Shikabala pulled one back on the stroke of half-time and Mariano Donda got the leveller in the 77th minute.
