Jiangsu go top after late winner

A last-minute penalty by Cristian Danalache saw Jiangsu Shuntian move to the top of the Chinese Super League with a 3-2 win over Dalian Aerbin.

China to win 2-0?

Shuntian went ahead early on when Ji Xiang scored after just three minutes with Danalache doubling the lead six minutes before half-time.

However, goals by Fabio Rochemback (52) and Zhou Tong (68) saw the visitors claw back to 2-2 before Danalache held his nerve to convert the spot-kick at the death and guide the hosts above Guangzhou Evergrande at the top of the table.

Ayegbeni Yakubu's goal 10 minutes from time saw Guangzhou go three points clear in third, though still 10 adrift of their city rivals, with a 1-0 win over Guizhou Renhe.
