Daniel Cortes opened the scoring for Police in the 36th minute and the hosts looked good value for their lead, until TOT equalised three minutes before the hour mark through South Korean defender Lee Jun-ki.

And while the Silver Shields ultimately had to settle for a share of the spoils, they remain two points away from relegation zone with five games left to go in the season.

High-flying Esan United, who are currently fifth on the table, were brought back down to earth after falling to a 1-0 defeat at home to Pattaya United.

Russian midfielder Rodion Dyachenko scored the only goal of the game five minutes from time to end Esan's nine-game unbeaten streak.

Chiangrai United showed excellent resolve to come from a goal down and record a 2-1 victory over Chainat, who had taken an 14th-minute lead through Phuwandon Suwannachat.

However, Antonio Claudio equalised from the spot four minutes later, before Wasan Nanthasan netted what proved to be the winner for the Fighting Beetles six minutes after the half-hour mark.

Finally, Kirati Keawsombat netted a first-half brace to send Wuachon United on their way to a 3-1 triumph at Army United.

The Thai international fired his side ahead in the fifth minute before doubling his tally a minute before the break, and while Army pulled one back through Tatree Sing-ha in the 62nd minute, the visitors were not to be denied and wrapped up all three points two minutes later when Pichet Sadien found the back of the net.
