The match will kick-off Singapore's preparations for the AFF Suzuki Cup 2012.

Nazrul Nazari and Shahfiq Ghani of Courts Young Lions, together with Balestier Khalsa's custodian Joey Sim and Tampines Rovers' Jufri Thaha, will be looking to earn their first international cap for Singapore.

However, players such as Shahril Ishak, Agu Casmir and Safuwan Baharudin are not included in this call-up so as to aid their recovery process from their respective injuries.

The squad boasts 14 players from LIONSXII, who finished their debut Malaysian Super League season as runners-up, together with 11 players from various S.League clubs such as Balestier Khalsa, Tampines Rovers, Home United, Courts Young Lions, SAFFC and Tanjong Pagar United.

The average age of the squad is 24.7 years, and the team features eight players below the age of 23 years thus creating a judicious blend of youth and experience as they prepare the upcoming AFF Suzuki Cup 2012. The players have been selected purely based on merit and their performances in the Great Eastern-YEO'S S.League and the Malaysian Super League.
