Chonburi close gap on leaders Muangthong
Chonburi closed the gap on Thai Premier League leaders Muangthong United on Saturday with a 1-0 win over TTM Chiangmai.

Fode Diakite scored the only goal of the game right at the death to hand the Sharks all three points at the 700th Anniversary Stadium, a result which sees them move five points behind Muangthong, after the Twin Qilins could only manage a 1-1 draw with Chiangrai United.
Chiangrai went ahead just before the break when Leandro Assumpcao found the back of the net, although Mario Gjurovski ensured Muangthong's unbeaten run in the league would continue when he equalised in the 78th minute.
Despite a dominant display, Osotspa Saraburi could only manage a 0-0 draw with Thai Port as they failed to find a way past an inspired Wanlop Sae-jiu, Esan United and Chainat played out a 1-1 draw.
BEC Tero Sasana edged ahead of defending champions Buriram United despite a 0-0 draw with Army United, while Pattaya United came from behind to salvage a 1-1 draw with Police United.
