The Turtles head into the weekend's clash in Alor Setar without a win in three games after losing 1-0 to LIONSXII and consecutive 2-2 draws with PKNS FC and Kelantan.
However, Peter Butler's men will take heart in the manner in which they came back from two goals down to steal a point against defending champions Kelantan on Tuesday as they prepare to face struggling Kedah.
Goals from Norfarhan Muhammad and Badri Radzi had put the Red Warriors in a comfortable position after just 21 minutes earlier in the week, only for Terengganu to hit back through Abdul Hadi Yahya and Muslim Ahmad.
And while Kedah aren't expected to pose as stern a test as the defending champions did, the Turtles will be aware that they will be up against a side desperate for all three points in a bid to stave off relegation on Saturday.
Sabah will be looking to build on Tuesday's 1-0 win over Kedah when they take on already-relegated Kuala Lumpur at the Hang Jebat Stadium.
The Sabahawks' victory in midweek spelt an end to a three-game losing run which saw them concede fourteen goals and score none, including a humiliating 9-0 defeat to LIONSXII.
Against a team which has only picked up four points all season long, Sabah will know they will not have a better chance to pick up three points in their fight to avoid the drop.
Elsewhere, high-flying Negri Sembilan travel to play PKNS FC, T-Team entertain Felda United while Johor FC face a tricky trip to Sarawak.
On Friday, Kelantan will be looking to move top of the table with a win over Selangor.
