Jiangsu routed by Guangzhou

Muriqui struck a hat-trick as Guangzhou Evergrande extended their lead at the top of the Chinese Super League to four points with a 5-1 thrashing of Jiangsu Shuntian.

Guangzhou led only 1-0 at half-time through Dario Conca's early strike but three goals in eight minutes around the hour-mark saw them take complete control, Ning Jiang (54), Muriqui (57 and 62) the scorers.

Visitors Jiangsu pulled a goal back soon after through Qu Cheng but freescoring Brazilian forward Muriqui had the final word with his third goal in the 90th minute to seal a comprehensive win for the pacesetters.

Guizhou Renhe were also among the goals in their home match with mid-table rivals Hangzhou Greentown, winning 5-0.

Qu Bo (20 and 44) and Yang Yihu (80 and 89) both netted braces for Guizhou either side of Zlatan Muslimovic's 65th-minute effort.

In another game, Shanxi Zhongxin and Dalian Shide played out a 1-1 draw. Visitors Dalian took a 29th-minute lead through Martin Kamburov but a Zhu Jiawei equaliser just before half-time earned Shanxi a point.
