Singapore newspaper, The New Paper claims Beckham and his LA Galaxy team-mates will make a pit stop in Singapore before heading to Indonesia to play an exhibition match.
Sources told the newspaper that the Major League Soccer (MLS) outfit will hold an open-to-public training session in Singapore and will also play a friendly match against an Indonesian All-Star side at the end of November.
Singapore sports makerting agency The Red Card Group are reportedly close to agreeing a deal with the LA Galaxy for the Singapore-leg of the tour.
"We are close, I would say about 80 per cent, to bringing the LA Galaxy, along with all their marquee players, to Singapore during the first week of December," R Sasikumar, managing director for The Red Card Group, was quoted as saying.
"We would love to have them play a match here, but unfortunately the availability of a suitable venue and pitch is an issue.
"Nonetheless, even as a stop-over, the star power of Beckham should still interest fans."
The LA Galaxy have already confirmed they will play Melbourne Victory at Etihad Stadium on December 6.
