Guangzhou clinched their maiden domestic title in their first season back in the top flight, the victory extending their lead to 14 points over second-placed Beijing Guoan with four games to go.
Wan Houliang put the hosts ahead in the 26th minute when he blasted home a rebound but Chinese international Gao Lin drew Guangzhou level eight minutes before the break, latching onto a clipped ball from Zheng Zhi and firing past keeper Zhang Lie.
Gao netted his second of the game six minutes into the second period, steering Sun Xiang's low cross beyond Zhang.
The visitors then made the game safe with two late goals from Zheng and Argentina forward Dario Conca.
Five minutes from the end, Zheng tapped in a loose ball after Zhang parried Muriqui's ferocious shot before Conca converted an easy fourth.
"I feel proud of my players," said Guangzhou's Korean manager Lee Jang-soo.
"They put much pressure on us. Fortunately, we found our form just in time to win the tough away match."
Guangzhou, formerly known as Guangzhou Guangyao, were demoted in 2010 because of match fixing.
But the free-spending southern club signed a clutch of top domestic players such as Gao and Zheng alongside quality imports to carry them to the title this season.
"The championship marks just a start," said Gao.
"We want to keep our good form in the AFC Champions League next year and achieve a good result in the tournament."
Guangzhou are the first CSL side to qualify for next year's Asian Champions League.
Beijing could only manage a 1-1 draw at Shandong Luneng.
Shandong took the lead after 20 minutes when Lu Zheng headed Deng Zhuoxiang's corner into the path of Wang Yongpo who and he finished from close range.
Zhou Ting equalised six minutes before half-time, volleying Xu Liang's cross past keeper Yang Cheng.
Elsewhere, Shanghai Shenhua edged out Hangzhou Greentown 3-2, Henan Jianye outclassed Qingdao Zhongneng 4-1, while Tianjin Teda and Dalian Shide played out a 2-2 draw.
Nanchung Bayi beat Changchun Yatai 2-0, Shenzhen Ruby shared the spoils with Liaoning Zhongyu 1-1 while Chengdu Blades and Jiangsu Shuntian played out a goalless draw.
