Entering the weekend third on the table and nine points behind leaders Muangthong United, the Sharks knew anything less than a win at the Leo Stadium would be a further hindrance to their bid to make up ground.
And although they were coming up against a Bangkok Glass side that have struggled for consistency this season, Attaphol Puspakom's charges entered the clash high in confidence after an impressive 3-0 win at Army United on Wednesday.
Nonetheless, neither side were able to find the breakthrough on Saturday as both of them ultimately had to settle for a share of the spoils.
Over at the TOT Stadium Chaeng Watthana, TOT's free-falling ways continued as they succumbed to a sixth straight loss after being beaten 3-0 at home to Pattaya United.
Following a goalless first half, the Dolphins took the lead in the 47th minute when Kritsana Daiwan opened the scoring, before Efe Obode added a second nine minutes after the hour mark.
And in the third minute of injury-time, Phanuwat Jinta struck to make it 3-0 and cap off a fine evening for Pattaya, which tentatively seems them overtake Chiangrai United in 16th.
In Saturday's final game, there was no separating Suphanburi and Ratchaburi as both sides played out a 0-0 draw at the Suphanburi Muncipality Stadium.
