Second-half goals from Kim Shin-wook and Lee Keun-ho were enough to see off the Uzbekistan outfit on the night, and ensure a K-League side would be playing in the final of the competition for the fourth year running.

Speaking after the game, Lee expressed his delight that his players were able to rise to the occasion, especially given they knew Bunyodkor would be setting their stall out to attack.

"I think we performed well in a very important match," he said on the AFC's official website.

"I stressed before the game that even though we had won the away match, the players should not be careless and the players had the determination to qualify for the final.

"We expected Bunyodkor would play offensively and we tried to counter that with more offensive tactics."

Lee was quick to praise all his players for the effort they put in, especially given they have had a long and testing season challenging on both the domestic and continental fronts.

"All the players, including Kim Shin-wook and Lee Keun-ho who scored, did their best," he added.

"It has been very hard playing in the K-League and in the AFC Champions League this season, especially with the long distance travelling so I am very grateful to all the players."

Ulsan will have home advantage for the final on November 10 after the AFC confirmed the match will be played at the Ulsan Munsu Football Stadium.
