Ajax Amsterdam have put a price on club captain Davy Klaasen who is widely expected to leave the Eredivisie at the end of the season.
Napoli, Everton and RB Leipzig have all been credited with an interest in the 24-year-old playmaker in recent weeks – after the player admitted he was seeking a new challenge.
Toffees boss Ronald Koeman has publically stated his interest in the Netherlands international who scored 19 goals in 45 games across all competitions, for the Europa League final hopefuls this season.
However, according to De Telegraaf the Dutch giants have responded by slapping a €25 million on Klaasen in a bid to scare of potential suitors.
Since making his senior debut for the club in 2011, the Ajax number ten has scored 54 goals and registered 38 assists in 177 appearances.
