What to look out for on the last two Fantasy Bundesliga matchdays!

The last two Matchdays of a Bundesliga season can often provide quite a climax given that all nine games on both weekends kick-off at the exact same time – triumphs and tears are guaranteed!

However, it’s not just the players and coaches who are facing unique challenges as the season reaches its conclusion. The same can be said of those involved in the Official Fantasy Bundesliga. The last two rounds of fixtures could prove pivotal and it’s up to you to do everything in your power to get the most out of your side before the campaign comes to a close!

Let’s start with some good news first shall we? On Matchday 33 and 34 you’re guaranteed not to be caught out by last-minute changes or incalculable rotation policies as you’ll have all 18 line-ups to hand before the transfer deadline at 14:28 CEST on Saturday afternoon. Therefore, you can make your transfers plans during the week, but have until the starting XIs are announced to set them in stone. Choose wisely though!

One shot at two crucial decisions

So far so good right? Well there is one disadvantage to all the games taking place at the same time as it gives you little room to manoeuvre. As a result, you will have to get your formation and captain choice spot on first time. The tactic of trying to cover all kick-off times, whilst having the freedom to chop and change your side throughout a Matchday is gone as the transfer market closes just before the balls get rolling around the grounds.

Therefore, you have to really consider which players are worthy of putting your faith in them. In the business end of a season, Official Fantasy Bundesliga players – just like the Bundesliga stars – can’t afford to make any mistakes. At the same time, pressure situations can sometimes bring the best out of players and coaches! Will you crack under pressure or rise to the occasion?
