Barcelona manager Luis Enrique enjoyed seeing the impact that Lionel Messi made against Real Sociedad playing in a more central role.
Messi was instrumental in the Copa del Rey quarter-final, scoring a goal and assisting in two others to help Barca to a 5-2 win on the night, and a 6-2 aggregate victory.
"Messi can play wherever he wants, in fact in certain matches him coming through the middle has been decisive for us," said Luis Enrique.
"When Leo has the ball you know you have to make moves because the pass will come."
Meanwhile, Enrique was also impressed by the performance of Denis Suarez, who scored a brace for the Catalans at the Nou Camp.
"He played great," the Barca boss added. "One of his major virtues is his ability to penetrate from the second line and his presence in the penalty area."
