RB Leipzig sporting director Ralf Rangnick believes the impressive performances of Hoffenheim coach Julian Nagelsmann could see him become Carlo Ancelotti’s replacement at Bayern Munich.
The former scout received rave reviews in his first season in the Bundesliga when became the youngest ever coach to take charge of a team in the German top-fight, in addition to helping his team stay clear of the relegation zone.
Naggelsmann has enjoyed further success in his second season with Hoffenheim, currently the only team who boast an unbeaten record in Europe’s top five leagues, occupying third place in the table.
“He is young, a great professional and has charisma. He also has the ability to catch and motivate the team,” Rangnick told Bild.
“Julian is already seen as Ancelotti’s successor at Bayern. I hope for him that he is advised by good people,” he concluded.
