Stoke will aim to get back to winning ways in the Premier League when they welcome Watford to the Bet365 Stadium on Tuesday.
The Potters occupy 14th position in the table and are just one point adrift of the Hornets, having collected 21 points from a possible 57 thus far this season.
Mark Hughes' side have not recorded a victory in their last five league encounters, which includes losses against Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea.
They boast a respectable home record and are unbeaten in three games and have lost only three of their nine encounters played on home soil in the 2016/17 campaign.
Stoke fought valiantly in their most recent outing against Chelsea, with Bruno Martins Indi and Peter Crouch netting against the league leaders, but a brace by Willian and goals from Gary Cahill and Diego Costa sealed a 4-2 victory.
The 15th-placed Hornets boast a dismal away record and have only won two of their eight matches away from home this term. Walter Mazzarri's men desperately need a victory having not won in four consecutive games, while they suffered a heavy 4-1 defeat at home to Tottenham on New Year's Day.
The hosts will be without Jack Butland, Geoff Cameron and Stephen Ireland due to injury, while winger Ramadan Sobhi will not be available after the club's request for him to delay his arrival at the Africa Cup of Nations was rejected.
Meanwhile, Roberto Pereyra, Adrian Mariappa, Stefano Okaka, Isaac Success, Brice Dja Djedje and Nordin Amrabat are all missing for the visitors through injury.
