The agent of Real Madrid striker James Rodriguez has effectively ended speculation regarding the immediate future of his client after reports surfaced of an impending transfer.
British press have reported that Chelsea, Manchester United and Paris Saint Germain are all looking to end the Colombian's spell at Los Blancos.
The £63million signing from Monaco has made his feelings known over his lack of first-team opportunities at the Spanish Primeira Division side since joining the club, but his agent Jorge Mendes says he will remain in Madrid for another six months.
"James will not be leaving Madrid in January," he told AS, as the Champions of Europe will have their transfer ban lifted by the end of the season.
Rodriguez has scored 27 goals and registered 37 assists in 94 games for the club, since arriving at the Santiago Bernabeu in 2014.
