Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has admitted that he would like to play for Real Madrid at some point in his career.
Aubameyang has frequently spoken of his desire to move to La Liga, but made it clear that he won’t insist on joining the Spanish giants.
However, the 27-year-old revealed that he won’t be too disappointed if a move to the Santiago Bernabeu fails to materialise.
“Real has a close connection with my family,” he said. “The media is doing too much [speculation]. It’s a childhood dream. But, as I always said, I play at Dortmund and I’m glad to be there and it’s really good for me.
“And I don’t even know if Madrid really wants me. If Real comes one day, then that’s good. Otherwise, life goes on. This is not a problem.”

In addition to Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain have also expressed interest in acquiring the services of the Gabon international.
When asked if he had been in contact with the French side, Aubameyang said: “There was contact with the PSG, yes.”
It has also been reported that PSG are thinking about going after Aubameyang’s team-mate Marco Reus.
Responding to this, he cheekily said: “You have to take the package.”
