Barcelona legend Ronaldinho has taken up an ambassadorial role with the Spanish giants ahead of the opening of their new office in New York.
The Blaugrana handed the former Brazil international an off-the-field role after he was recently announced as a Brand Ambassador at the Rio Paralympic Games.
This after the midfielder had a brief stint in India's Premier Futsal league, where he made just two appearances for Goa before calling it quits.
While Ronaldinho will have to juggle his two new roles in the coming months, he is expected back in India for the second season of the Premier Futsal league.
After the announcement of his Goa departure, Ronaldinho revealed: "The para-Olympics committee has honoured me to be their ambassador, which requires me to be in Brazil.
"I was looking forward towards being in Goa, but I learnt only yesterday of this development. I am delighted to spend these days in your beautiful country and promote the game I grew up playing.
"But I promise to be back for Season 2 of Premier Futsal, much stronger.
"I am leaving you in great hands, Cafu, will replace me as your marquee player. He is a very dear friend and is a top quality player and I am sure he will light the league up."
