Marc Wilmots says Belgium captain Eden Hazard can face Wales in their Euro 2016 quarter-final even if he does not train this week.
Speaking to a news conference ahead of Friday's showdown at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy, the Red Devils coach gave an update on the Chelsea midfielder, who hasn't trained since the 4-0 win over Hungary after picking up a knock which led to his substitution.
"Eden is still feeling some discomfort in his thigh," Wilmots said. "I can't really say how it's going to go. The medical staff are doing their work and we're waiting.
"Will Eden be able to play on Friday without having trained on Thursday? It's possible."
Belgium and Wales will renew their rivalry after meeting in the qualifiers for both the 2014 World Cup and Euro 2016.
The Red Devils topped their most recent qualifying group, but in the two games between the pair, they were held scoreless in Brussels and lost 1-0 to Wales in Cardiff.
