Watford have confirmed the signing of Liverpool striker Jerome Sinclair after the two Premier League clubs agreed on terms.
The Hornets took to their official Twitter account on Thursday to announce the capture of the promising 19-year-old, who signed a five-year deal.
Sinclair becomes new boss Walter Mazzarri's first signing in preparation for the 2016/17 Premier League season.
The teenager was out of contract at Anfield but a statement from the Reds said "as he is under the age of 24, his registration would have been subject to compensation in the form of a development fee."
Sinclair became the youngest-ever player to represent the Merseyside giants when he made his debut at the tender age of 16 in their League Cup clash with West Brom in 2012.
He subsequently went on to make just five appearances for the Reds, scoring in his first start against Exeter in the FA Cup earlier this year.
